2001 Felsina, Fontalloro, Tuscany, Italy

Intimidating approach with subtle sweetness - purity, blackcurrant, leather and fresh Tuscan herbs. Taste it youthful with great sangiovese bite. The finish is closed by a mineral freshness. This wine is for me a great expression of Tuscan sangiovese and a great friend for a pasta dish. (92).

Tasted 2nd of June 2005. Glass: Riedel Sommelier Bordeaux Grand Cru
